A leading UK logistics firm has taken a 31,000 sq ft warehouse at an industrial estate in Tannochside.
Clipper Logistics relocated from their previous base in East Kilbride in a deal negotiated by JLL on behalf of Squarestone Growth LLP.
The company has signed a ten-year lease on the unit within Tannochside Business Park, with the landlord carrying out various works to ensure it met their needs.
Andrew Armstrong, senior surveyor, JLL, said: “Following the expiry of the previous tenant’s lease, we were able to quickly secure Clipper Logistics for the vacant unit at 6 Bedlay View. We were also able to agree a rental of £5.25 psf which reflects the quality of the premises, the landlord works and the strategic location.”
Tannochside Business Park is situated eight miles south east of Glasgow. It offers excellent access to the motorway network, with the M8, M73 and M74 all close by.
Other tenants within the estate include Britvic, Lloyds British, Howden Plc, Kwik Fit and Stewart Milne Homes.
