Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon has sold more than 5,500 sq ft of office space in Droitwich, following an extensive refurbishment.
Acting on behalf of a private client, Sandy Macpherson, commercial negotiator at GJS Dillon, sold units 8 & 9 Roman Way Business Centre, Berry Hill Industrial Estate, Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR9 9AJ, to Broadband Digital, based on a figure of £120psf.
Units 8 & 9 are semi-detached two storey properties, each of 2,775 sq ft, situated within a modern courtyard office development comprising thirteen self-contained office buildings and less than two miles from Junction 5 of the M5. GJS Dillon’s new Droitwich headquarters office is adjacent to these properties at 7 Roman Way.
The office space was on the market for a short period of time after refurbishment before being acquired by Broadband Digital which is relocating from Berkeley Business Park in Worcester. According to Mr Macpherson the quick sale was as a result of the vendor bringing up the office accommodation up to modern standards before putting it on the market.
He says: “Good quality offices are going extremely well across the whole of Worcestershire at present. The fact that our client spent some money to ensure that the premises were in ‘walk-in condition’ really helped speed through the sale and optimise the price.
“Opening our new office in Droitwich, alongside our existing offices in Bromsgrove and Worcester, has pulled in a lot of new clients for us, who like the fact that they can receive very local advice.”
