Following the very successful completion of the Phase One Innovation Centre and starter unit development, shown above, in conjunction with Dacorum Borough Council, completed in Summer 2011, Trebor/Wrenbridge JV have now completed a transaction with Farren Hydraulics for the Phase Two site, extending to 1.6 acres which was purchased on a freehold basis and will be developed as a specialist storage facility.
The transaction was managed by Trebor/Wrenbridge with assistance from joint agents Aitchison Raffety and Jones Lang LaSalle, detailed planning consent for the proposed development was granted in January 2012.
This concludes the Axis Point development which has resulted in a highly successful outcome via a Public Private Partnership agreement between Trebor/Wrenbridge and Dacorum Borough Council and fulfilled all the financial and job creation objectives.
Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner of Trebor Developments, commented on behalf of the JV:- “We are delighted to have completed this transaction which comes so soon after the successful completion of Axis Point Phase One and again demonstrates the skills and abilities which the Trebor/Wrenbridge JV can bring forward in working with public sector partners such as Dacorum Borough Council. In a tight economic climate this overall project must be considered an outstanding success both financially and in terms of jobs and regeneration for the Maylands area.”
