A growing telecommunications company has expanded into new headquarters in Worcestershire.
R4telecom specialises in providing support and consultancy for point-to-point radio transmission systems and designs and installs radio networks for some of the industry’s biggest organisations.
The firm, which was launched in 2003, works with clients across the UK and has moved its headquarters to Hepworth Park industrial estate in Redditch after outgrowing its previous base in Solihull.
R4telecom was assisted in its move by Midlands law firm Wright Hassall.
Managing director, Ron Edwards, said a period of strong growth had given the company the confidence to invest in the expansion.
“We’ve needed more space for a while now, as the company has been gradually growing in size over the last few years on the back of some big contract wins,” he said.
“The team has grown to be 22-strong, the majority of which each have in excess of 25 years’ experience in the telecoms industry.
“The opportunity for us to move the team to a new premises which are fitted to our specification was extremely attractive and will enable us to take the company to the next level.”
R4telecom is the final tenant to move into one of seven new units at Hepworth Park and Ron Edwards said he valued the support of legal advisers Wright Hassall on the deal.
He added: “I approached a number of solicitors to act for us on the deal and I was impressed by the level of knowledge and attention to detail Andrew Jones at Wright Hassall afforded us.
“Andrew gave us some sound advice and helped make the transaction as smooth as possible.”
Andrew Jones, senior associate in the commercial property team at Wright Hassall, said: “R4telecom is an ambitious and forward thinking business which is well placed to grow further following this move.
“We were able to help Ron and the company structure a deal which gives the business a solid platform to expand further and we wish them all the best at their new HQ.”
