A national training provider has secured a lease on its second office in Chesterfield, thanks to leading property consultants Bruton Knowles.
Mentor Training – the UK’s largest provider of training for all types of workplace transport and mobile plant equipment – has opened its new office on Millennium Way in Dunston, to accommodate its ever-growing team.
Boasting more than 3000 sq ft, the new premises will initially cater for more than ten office staff, while providing space for planned future growth.
Associate at Bruton Knowles Stuart Hastings worked on the deal.
He said: “We are delighted to have worked with Mentor Training, to help the company acquire a new premise in Chesterfield.
“Bruton Knowles is a member of the Chesterfield Champions – a network which helps to raise the profile of the town. Therefore, we are always keen to support the growth of businesses and the development of the economy within Chesterfield. It is great that we have been able to continue this through our work with Mentor Training.
“The new premises provides on-site parking, high quality facilities for the staff and landscaped grounds and will be ideal for Mentor Training as the company continues to expand and grow during the next few years. The office is also in close proximity to the firm’s head office in Turnoaks Business Park. I wish them the best of luck in their new premises.”
With offices also in Bromsgrove, Norwich and Livingston, Mentor Training has more than 200 field based instructors and assessors. They deliver specialist training throughout the UK on all types of fork lift trucks, cranes, access equipment and mobile plant for any type and size of business.
Director at Mentor Training Emily Bonsall said: “The business has seen substantial growth over the past ten years. The offices at Burley Close could no longer comfortably accommodate all employees which in time would limit the expansion plans of the business.
“It was very difficult finding the right building with the required parking and the opportunity for future growth and expansion. Bruton Knowles was on hand throughout the whole process from identification of potential premises through to contract signing. The advice was invaluable during our visits to premises and their experience provided us with the peace of mind that we were making an informed decision when selecting the chosen offices and signing contracts.”
