Stratton Creber Commercial has successfully advised on the acquisition of 16 Waterbeer Street, Exeter for retained clients House of Harris who specialise in the sale of Yankee candles and other homeware gifts. House of Harris have been trading since 2012 from their premises in Plymouth and wanted to secure their next outlet in Exeter.
Their new premises previously occupied by MET-Rx a subsidiary of health food specialists Holland & Barrett are situated in a prime position next to the newly opened Queen St Dining quarter and within the heart of the guildhall shopping centre next to M&S.
Zach Maiden from Stratton Creber Commercial comments ‘we are delighted to have been able to assist with our ‘search and aquire for clients service’ these well located shop premises especially with such limited supply of retail property in Exeter city centre.
The success of House of Harris’s Plymouth store and a dedicated customer base travelling from further afield has allowed the company to expand and Exeter was seen as the ideal location for their second premises’.
The store is set to open Saturday 13th-September and will be the first store in Exeter dedicated to the sale of the premium Yankee Candle brand which itself has a large dedicated following.
