Norton Clothing has chosen 47 Beak Street in London’s Soho as the location for its first UK store.
Drawing on the unique and rich heritage of the Norton Motorcycle Company, the label brings an exciting blend of vintage and forward-looking fashion to the West End. Norton Clothing has taken 2,040 sq ft split evenly across a ground floor and basement unit.
Formed in 1898 in Birmingham, the Norton Motorcycle Company was a pillar of British style and engineering throughout the 20th century, with its range of models proving a favourite among collectors, while also being used by the British Army during the Second World War. It currently has one other outlet in the heart of Barcelona.
Michael Horwitz, CBRE, said: “The Norton brand has endured for more than a century and is naturally associated with high-quality and prestige, thanks to a history of esteemed craftsmanship and celebrity endorsements.
“Situated just off Carnaby Street, the new outlet will offer shoppers a taste of Britain’s motorcycling legacy and will no doubt prove as successful in Norton’s home country as it has been abroad.”
