A global company specialising in controlling temperatures in public buildings and saving energy is setting up a new base in leafy Cranborne, Dorset.
This follows property consultancy Myddelton & Major successfully negotiating the letting of a large factory and workshop unit at Holwell Farm in the village.
Airius Europe Ltd has taken the unit on a new lease and the agents were quoting £22,000 per annum.
Myddelton & Major Senior Partner Philip Holford said: “Airius Europe is a UK-based company servicing Europe, Africa, Middle-East and Asia, with additional offices in Denver, USA and Sydney, Australia – and has a prestigious client base including well-known brands like Boots, British Airways, Mercedes and Morrisons.
“Formed in 2006, Airius has revolutionised the industry with its market leading thermal destratification systems, which have helped balance the internal temperatures in many public and commercial buildings and helps save businesses energy costs.
“Airius found the large 3,770 sq ft (350 sq m) unit – plus a concrete apron for parking and loading and a fenced secure yard area, measuring approximately 65 ft by 33 ft for outside storage – perfect for their needs.”
“The property is a steel frame workshop building with blockwork and part timber clad elevations. It is fitted out with an office, stores, WC, kitchen facilities, electrically operated roller shutter door, sodium lighting and waste timber space heating.
Cranborne is a busy village, midway between Salisbury and Wimborne and within easy reach of the main A354. Amenities include a pub, restaurant, village shop and post office. Holwell Farm lies to the east of the village, just off the B7078 Cranborne to Fordingbridge road.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2015 for the fourth year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
