Farm and Stable Supplies LLP, the UK’s largest independent provider of equine nutraceuticals & stable equipment, will relocate to new offices north of Portsmouth following a deal brokered by leading property consultancy JLL.
Farm and Stable Supplies LLP will move into a 13,853 sq ft unit on a five year lease, which will enable the company to progress its expansion program with more storage space and enhanced connectivity to the logistics network. Ideally located at Hazleton Interchange Business Park, in Horndean, the space is home to state-of-the-art offices and a large warehouse facility.
The move follows an increase in the company’s stable and veterinary portfolio of products and will support further expansion plans. Currently based in Midhurst, Farm and Stable Supplies LLP will move to the new premises in November and join the 28 other tenants based at the park. The estate comprises more than 25 units, equating to a total of 225,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and manufacturing space.
John Newton, a director at Farm and Stable Supplies, said: “To support our expansion plans, we needed to find a property that could provide high quality office space and storage facilities. Hazelton Interchange has ticked all the boxes for us but, most importantly, it was the location that really sealed the deal. Our business is dependent on good network connectivity to ensure that goods move in and out efficiently and without delays. We are excited about the move as this will improve operational excellence across the board and provide the right infrastructure to support our growth plans.”
David McGougan, director at JLL Southampton, added: “The development at Hazleton Interchange presents the perfect opportunity for companies looking for modern industrial, warehouse and office space in the region. It is great to see businesses like Farm and Stable Supplies LLP choosing the development to support its growth ambitions; clearly this is a testament to what the site has to offer.”
Founded more than 40 years ago, Farm and Stable Supplies LLP employs some 40 people and has other offices across Europe including Chester, Ireland and Germany.
