Barker Storey Matthews Peterborough office has let a trade counter/industrial unit at 2 Breydon Centre, Padholme Road in Peterborough comprising 4,872 sq ft to European electrical support, service and solutions experts YESSS Electrical.
YESSS Electrical has taken a lease of the premises on Padholme Road in order to open a new outlet/trade counter facility, increasing their number of branches throughout Europe to over 412. Privately owned by the same family for over 37 years, they now provide access to over 700,000 electrical products, 1,000’s of which are available for same or next day delivery. Employing hundreds of staff across the UK, YESSS Electrical are now the fourth largest electrical supplier in the UK.
Unit 2 Breydon Centre is a mid-terrace warehouse building which has recently been refurbished and local occupiers include Homebase, Travis Perkins & Halfords as well as a number of major car dealerships. YESSS Electrical has agreed to take a 10 year lease without a break at a rent of just under £30,000 per annum.

There was a clear sign of hesitance within the market in the immediate aftermath of BREXIT, however the announcement of a large European company committing to a 10 year lease within Peterborough highlights the cities resilience and appeal on an international scale”.
