Tom Stanley, planning expert at the Bristol office of Colliers International, has been promoted to director.
Mr Stanley was one of eight senior staff elevated to director level as part of a raft of recent promotions by the global real estate company across its UK operations.
Since joining in 2015, after spending nine years at the Planning Inspectorate, Mr Stanley has created a three-strong regional planning team that is presently involved in planning applications for in excess of 40,000 new homes and commercial properties, mainly across the South and South West.
Tim Davies, head of the Bristol office of Colliers International, said: “This is a well-deserved appointment that acknowledges the valuable contribution Tom has made in the short time he has been with us.
“Our planning division now covers not only the South West but also the South of England, across an extensive range of residential and commercial planning issues.
