Humberts Commercial has recently let 69 Staplegrove Road, Taunton which was available at a rent of £12,500 per annum and had a prominent location facing onto Staplegrove Road being the A3027, one of the main thoroughfares into Taunton town centre.
The property had a gross internal area of 160.96 sq m (1,731 sq ft) including offices plus a mezzanine storage area of 50.51 sq m (544 sq ft). The property also included 3-4 parking spaces to the rear.
Stephen Richards who heads up the Commercial department for Humberts in Taunton comments “we had several abortive lettings before we were able to agree a letting of the premises to a funeral directors. The major issue with the property was its planning use. Several potential tenants wanted to retail from the property but the local authority would not allow this use and Humberts assisted the potential tenant through the planning process before he was able to take the premises”.
