The new owners of The Laurels Dental Practice in Clydach have plans to modernise and grow the practice, having just bought the business for a six-figure sum.
Andrew Williams and his wife Claire are the new owners of the long-established practice, with JCP Solicitors acting for the Williams’ during the transaction.
Mr Williams is installed as the Lead Clinician at the practice, with Mrs Williams being the partner in the business.
Mr Williams said: “We are very pleased to take on The Laurels. I know it is a valued part of the community in Clydach and beyond, and it is a pleasure for me to take up the reins of my own practice, working with the existing clients and, I’m sure, others in the future.
“I am looking forward to modernising The Laurels and some of its processes and systems, while continuing to provide the people of Clydach and its surrounding areas with the highest level of care.
Chris Davies, Head of Healthcare at JCP Solicitors, based at the firm’s Swansea office, said: “Handling the sale of dental practices and surgeries is one of our specialisms at JCP Solicitors and it is always satisfying to be able to act in transactions like these, based within the communities we serve.
“This transaction involved some detailed work around the financing and we are pleased that we were able to help this acquisition go as smoothly as possible. We wish Andrew and Claire every success with The Laurels.”
