Acting on behalf of a private client, Stratton Creber Commercial has just completed the final letting of 17 Southernhay West, Exeter. The office building is now fully let after a comprehensive marketing campaign and was formerly occupied by private bankers, Arbuthnot Latham as their main HQ office building before deciding to relocate to their new Grade A offices at the Senate in Southernhay Gardens, Exeter.
Stratton Creber Commercial advised the landlord on the extensive refurbishment of the period Georgian offices to provide 5 self-contained individual suites, each with their own new kitchen and w/c facilities.
The final letting to Pennys estate agents brings to an end a successful marketing campaign that dealt with the negotiation of 5 new occupiers, each taking a separate floor in the 3,300 sq ft Georgian building which was previously occupied by one tenant. The building is located in Southernhay, the central business district of Exeter and is popular with financial advisers, solicitors, accountants, estate agents and surveyors.
Zach Maiden of Stratton Creber Commercial Exeter comments: “The marketing proved that the ‘in town’ office market is showing encouraging signs and take up over the past couple of months has been strong where we have secured 4 office deals in the last month alone.”
Zach comments further, that “the small in town office market has seen a resurgence over the last two quarters of the year with the demand for small offices on the increase. It is refreshing and satisfying to have successfully advised and guided our client throughout this refurbishment.”
