Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund (SHOF) has agreed a deal with Hotel Chocolat to open an exciting new café and shop at Worcester’s Cathedral Square.
The Hotel Chocolat shop will incorporate the new shop and cafe concept serving its famous real hot chocolate as well as the full range of luxury chocolates. The new café is one of only a handful in the country with others situated in Cambridge, Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, London’s Covent Garden and York.
Hotel Chocolat has signed a 10 year lease, at a rent of £90,000 a year, on a unit previously occupied by Monsoon.
Cathedral Square is undergoing a £20 million refurbishment, which is due for completion in Spring 2017. SHOF has already signed a number of new leisure tenants including Ask, Byron Hamburgers, Cosy Club, Miller and Carter and Fitness4less.
Nick Webb of Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund commented:, “We are delighted to welcome Hotel Chocolat to Cathedral Square. For such a dynamic brand to bring its new concept café to Worcester is a great endorsement of the city centre and our scheme.”
Harper Dennis Hobbs acted for Hotel Chocolat and HTC, Johnson Fellows and DMR acted for SHOF.
Local contractor Speller Metcalfe is undertaking the refurbishment works.
