This month, St. Modwen submitted two more planning applications to deliver a further 200,000 sq ft of warehouse and industrial units at its 212 acre development, Access 18, off junction 18 of the M5 in Avonmouth.
The first planning application covers provision of 14 small units, ranging in size from 5,900 to 15,800 sq ft. The second planning application covers provision of two larger detached warehouse and industrial units of 39,500 and 44,000 sq ft, available for sale or rent.
Pete Davies, Senior Development Manager at St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist explains:
“Access 18 is one of our key commercial developments in the South West. Developed in phases and easily accessible from the M5, it’s an ideal location for businesses looking to expand their distribution and industrial operations in the region. Subject to planning approval, work on this next phase of speculative new units will begin in early autumn, once the ongoing construction of almost 70,000 sq ft of warehousing space on site complete in October 2016.”
Access 18 has also recently welcomed new occupiers, Hermes Parcelnet and food industry supplier, Kent Foods, onto this £150m mixed use scheme. These join the other 12 existing businesses already operating out of the development.
