An IT Services company has bought one of the few remaining units at a particularly popular modern business development on the edge of the New Forest.
Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the sale of Unit 22, Phase 3, Glasshouse Studios, Fordingbridge, for the quoting freehold price of £150,000.
Purchasers are long-established WhiteStone IT Services & Solutions, already based at another Glasshouse Studios unit, and working with clients across Dorset, Hampshire, Surrey and Wiltshire.
Myddelton & Major Senior Partner Philip Holford said: “We have seen strong commercial demand for this new development on the outskirts of Fordingbridge, which is almost fully occupied before construction by HHM Developments is finished.
“The general shortage of business premises in this area has prompted this demand. There are now just two units remaining and anyone interested in them should not delay contacting us.
“WhiteStone, a managed service provider (MSP) for businesses, are a perfect fit for these timber and glass offices – a growing firm seeking to broaden their horizons – and we are glad to have been able to facilitate their move.”
WhiteStone is relocating into Unit 22 from their existing unit in Phase 2 on the development. The business is also leasing Unit 21 to make up a double unit.
Just three units remain at Glasshouse Studios, which is based around two buildings in a leafy, landscaped setting.
Other occupiers include BrightSpace, Wealth Care Partnership, Optimum Tax Solutions, Christopher Green and Associates, Saltrick & Saltrick and Triangle.
Myddelton & Major was named the most active agency in Wiltshire in 2015 for the fourth year running by Estates Gazette, the weekly and online magazine of the UK commercial property industry.
