Pick Everard has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of a new regional director for its Northern operations.
Project management and building surveying specialist Jon Parry will now take responsibility for the multi-disciplinary firm’s northern region from the Manchester office. Jon has more than 20 years’ experience in the construction industry.
He said: “I was looking for a new challenge and Pick Everard has an outstanding reputation within the industry, so I am very pleased to have taken up this new role.
“The firm has ambitious growth targets and I am excited to deliver the expansion strategy, build on the successes of the Manchester office and expand its reach and client base across the North of the country.
“Already, the firm has a diverse range of projects and clients serviced by a very talented team here in Manchester but there is a real opportunity to push the firm forward in the region and I am looking forward to doing just that.”
Originally from a building surveying background, Jon has specialised in project management for the last two decades, taking national responsibility for healthcare related projects in his last role prior to joining Pick Everard. He is also experienced in a number of other sectors including affordable housing, student accommodation, retail, commercial, arts and leisure as well as multi-site and multi project delivery during his career.
He joins Pick Everard’s Manchester office, which currently works with high profile clients including Sellafield, the Christie Hospital, the University of Manchester, Lancaster University, National Police Air Service and Manchester Airport Group among others.
Duncan Green, managing partner at Pick Everard, said: “Jon is hugely experienced within the construction industry and we are very pleased that he will be heading up our Manchester office and implementing our strategy for growth in the northern region.
“The northern market, particularly given the increasing emphasis on the Northern Powerhouse, is one that we believe offers a great deal of opportunity for growth for Pick Everard, which will allow us to build on the already excellent client base we have there.”
Pick Everard operates nationally across a broad range of sectors including education, blue light, healthcare, defence, custodial, industrial & manufacturing and workplace. Its services include project management, cost management, architecture, building surveying, building services engineering, civil engineering, structural engineering and management advice.
