Charles Darrow have helped accelerate the growth of Central Convenience Stores in Exeter by orchestrating the opening of two new shops.
The West Country commercial property specialists were tasked by Central Convenience Stores commercial director Tony Start to find more businesses in the area for the business to expand.
Sylvania Stores, Exeter, was sold by Mills & Sons of Clyst St Mary, while Matford Service Station, Exminster was sold on behalf of the Eveleigh family, who previously owned a number of garages across Exeter.
The Matford Petrol Filling Station business was the subject of an intense bidding war having been set an initial guide price of £1.5million.
It represents the 84th and 85th branches launched by Central Convenience Stores, which stock a wide range of products while offering the ultimate in convenience shopping.
The company, which is Britain’s fastest growing convenience store chain, are seeking to add even more stores to their portfolio and Charles Darrow are assisting them in their search.
