Sorbon Estates, Shanly Group’s commercial property investment arm, has agreed a long term lease with Mountain Warehouse for 36-38 High Street, Marlow.
The outdoor clothing and equipment retailer, which has over 220 stores across the UK, North America and Europe, will continue to enhance Marlow’s reputation as a shopping and leisure destination. Offering active gear that ranges from hiking clothing to camping equipment, Mountain Warehouse will take up a 2,900 sq ft ground floor unit on the High Street from August.
Chris Naylor, director of asset management at Sorbon Estates, comments: “The addition of Mountain Warehouse to Marlow’s High Street will strengthen its status as a retail hub with a mix of independent and popular brands.”
Since its first store opened in 1997, Mountain Warehouse has taken pride in the fact that almost all the products they offer are exclusive to their brand. Commenting on the Marlow opening Mark Neale, CEO and founder of Mountain Warehouse said: “We are delighted to be opening a Mountain Warehouse branch in the historic town of Marlow and we look forward to offering local residents great value outdoor gear for all the family and welcoming them to our new store.”
The Mountain Warehouse store is due to open in August 2016.
