Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Ian Anderson as Senior Director in its Development & Planning team at its London office.
Bringing over 20 years of real estate experience, Ian will work with colleagues across the business to continue to grow the town planning offer to clients in London and across the UK.
Ian joins Cushman & Wakefield after 10 years with CBRE Planning and Development where he represented a significant range of both public and private sector clients, including major retailers, Propco funds and residential developers on a UK wide basis.
Tim Johnson, Head of the Development & Planning team at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “We are delighted to welcome Ian to the business. He has an impressive track record of delivering high quality planning advice to a wide range of blue chip clients. His recruitment is a key step in continuing to reinforce our commercial town planning business where we are growing critical mass in London and across the UK as part of our broader development offer to the market.”
Ian Anderson added: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining Cushman & Wakefield. The role represents a fantastic opportunity to help further develop a best in class planning and development platform to offer clients added value to ongoing work at Cushman & Wakefield across all sectors.”
Cushman & Wakefield’s UK business has benefitted from an influx of senior hires in 2016 as the firm continues to grow its platform. In the last few weeks these have included James Spencer-Jones in Debt Advisory, Neil Batty in the residential team and Anne Pilkington in central London retail. In addition, Elisabeth Troni took up her position as Head of EMEA Research this week (18 July).
