Acting on behalf of Casa Brasil Restaurants, Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell has secured another new site for the restaurant chain as its fourth Brazilian Rodizio dining experience. The latest site will be open for business this summer at the major new development at The Boardwalk, Brighton Marina.
Three years ago Casa Brasil opened its first restaurant in Southampton; a year later it opened a second in Bournemouth, and last summer Port Solent became its third restaurant. Casa Brasil has now taken a new 15 year lease on the 6,000 sq ft unit that forms part of The West Quay Development Company’s first phase development at The Boardwalk, Brighton Marina, currently undergoing a £250m redevelopment. When complete there will be seven restaurants and 195 new homes with the second phase set to deliver 658 residential units.
Holloway Iliffe & Mitchell Director Tom Holloway comments: “Following the huge success of the Port Solent restaurant, the new unit at The Boardwalk is another exciting development for Casa Brasil. Its Brazilian Rodizio format is very popular with diners and Brighton Marina should be completed in good time for the summer.”
David Hall of Casa Brasil added: “The opening of our fourth restaurant marks a major milestone in the company’s development. In under a year since its opening Port Solent is already our fastest growing outlet accounting for over 50% of our diners. The prospects for The Boardwalk are equally exciting as Brighton is another amazing waterside destination.”
With Casa Brasil Brighton scheduled to open in the coming weeks, there are already plans for a fifth restaurant to open in Bristol before the end of 2016 and future restaurant sites are being sought as the Rodizio format gains in popularity as a dining experience.
