Keyland Developments, the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister company to Yorkshire Water has appointed Cameron Sanderson as Graduate Development Surveyor to work in the company’s Leeds City Centre office at The Embankment.
Cameron holds a Real Estate (BSC Hons) degree from Northumbria University and joins Keyland from Intern positions within Knight Frank and JLL’s London offices, prior to which he was an Undergraduate Commercial Surveyor at Rock Regeneration Ltd.
Keyland has been operating across Yorkshire for over 20 years, regenerating Yorkshire Water’s redundant sites. In addition to its work transforming former Yorkshire Water land, the team also works alongside independent landowners, corporates or regulated bodies to overcome obstacles to development on strategic sites in order to facilitate regeneration by securing planning consent for future use.
At Keyland, Cameron will be assisting the team in the management of its extensive portfolio of sites in addition to identifying potential acquisitions from within the group, supporting the planning application process and working with consultants to progress the marketing and disposal of sites. Cameron will also support the team in stimulating planning promotion agreement (PPA) initiatives.
Peter Garrett, Managing Director of Keyland Developments, said; “We are delighted to welcome Cameron to our busy team at an exciting time for the business as we align ourselves for continued growth through our PPA’s. With strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for the industry, Cameron is a great fit for our team and we confident that he will be an asset to the business.”
Cameron continued; “Through its PPA work, Keyland offers a truly unique proposition to the property market and as such is an incredibly exciting company to work for. With an extensive portfolio of sites from former Yorkshire Water land to the range of PPA sites, the role offers a great deal of variety and I am looking forward to working with the team to support the growing business.”
