Global marketing agency, gyro, and personal injury claims firm ACH Group Management are the latest occupiers to sign leases at Hunter Real Estate Investment Managers’ new-look 433,637 sq ft Exchange Quay office development in Salford Quays.
gyro, which has circa 600 staff working from 14 offices worldwide, has signed a new 10 year lease for 4,021 sq ft in Number 8, continuing on from a 20 year tenancy at the development. ACH Group Management, which includes Accident Claims Helpline, has agreed a five year lease for 3,144 sq ft also in Number 8.
The latest deals take the total lettings to over 100,000 sq ft in the last year at Hunter’s Exchange Quay development which has undergone a £10M investment programme to upgrade the six office buildings to Grade A specification, in addition to extensive remodelling of the public realm and the introduction of many occupier facilities including a Costa Coffee outlet and Londis Retail Shop which are managed by award-winning site services partner, Elior.
Since the start of this year, Space & Time Media has signed a 10 year lease for 3,156 sq ft in Number 8 at Exchange Quay, insurance firm 1st Central has signed a 10 year lease on 10,838 sq ft of offices on the 6th floor of Number 1 at Exchange Quay and American multinational conglomerate corporation, 3M, has relocated some 120 staff into a 12,500 sq ft suite on the 4th Floor of Number 8 at Exchange Quay.

Exchange Quay’s six office buildings range from 26,151 sq ft to 116,684 sq ft. The development, which also boasts its own dedicated Metrolink tram stop, is strategically located just off Trafford Road which links Salford Quays to both Manchester City Centre and the major motorway networks via the M602.
