Blue Marble Asset Management (Blue Marble) has relocated to a new, larger office suite in the heart of Birmingham’s Colmore Business District, as part of plans to grow its business.
The niche commercial property asset management company has left its Worcester offices and more than doubled the size of its Birmingham presence in new offices on the ground floor of Enterprise House, 115 Edmund Street, Birmingham, B3 2HJ, where, in an off market deal, it has taken a new lease on the recently refurbished grade A office space.
“Early successes since first opening an office in Birmingham last September, coupled with our recent recruitment of Ed Jones as Investment Director, meant that we needed more space for our business in Birmingham, and gave us the confidence to move into a prominent position in such a prestigious and well located building in the heart of the city’s professional quarter,” says Tim Matthews, Chief Executive of Blue Marble Asset Management.
“Having the whole team all the time in the heart of Britain’s second city, closer to our clients and the property industry, is a strategic decision which we believe will help our business to grow even faster. Our enhanced presence in Birmingham will help us better to acquire new clients for whom we will asset manage commercial property portfolios, as well as identifying opportunities for purchase and disposals of assets, as part of our quest to maximise value and returns on commercial property investments for all our clients,” continues Mr Matthews.
Blue Marble has branded the street level office windows in its new offices with the company’s logo.
“In our new offices we will be even more visible to the city’s commercial property and professional services community,” says Mr Matthews.
Founded by Mr Matthews in 2011, Blue Marble Asset Management presently has more than £60 million of property assets under management. It works for a select range of clients including investment businesses, high net worth individuals, trusts and family offices. Its business is based on understanding its clients’ investment requirements, their attitude to risk, their aspirations on returns and their long term goals and providing them with the optimum commercial property investment strategy.
