The popularity of a research and development tax relief seminar, and a subsequent successful claim by a client, led to Yorkshire Bank holding a follow-up event in Birmingham.
Manufacturing businesses attending the seminar at Yorkshire Bank’s Financial Solutions Centre (FSC) on Temple Row had a second chance to hear how tax incentives for small and large companies investing in innovation can be claimed back.
David Nolan and Peter Whitehead, from Birmingham-based professional services firm RSM Tenon, were again on hand to demonstrate how tax relief can be claimed by businesses across a wide range of sectors.
Paul Reeves, managing partner at Yorkshire Bank’s FSC in Birmingham, said: “We had a really big response to the event we held earlier this year that we felt it would be really worthwhile for businesses who couldn’t join us first time around to find out more.
“Businesses can claim for a whole range of costs associated with giving them a competitive edge and we are delighted David and Peter from RSM Tenon were able to join us again to help reinforce this message.
