The ‘fully let’ sign has been hung at i10, Wolverhampton’s first major speculative office development in the city core for a number years.
Tarmac has acquired the last 11,000 sq ft of office space for its aggregates business.
The construction and building materials company has taken a ten-year lease and joins water treatment business Ovivo, which agreed terms in March, and regeneration specialist Countryside, which signed in April, at the 40,000 sq ft city centre development.
Greene King, Superdrug and Kaspa’s Desserts will operate from the ground floor. Two ground floor retail units remain with one under offer and strong interest in the other.
The Birmingham office of Knight Frank brokered the trio of deals on behalf of City of Wolverhampton Council and development managers Neptune Developments Ltd.
Jamie Phillips, a partner at Knight Frank and head of the offices team, said: “i10 was only completed in December. To have scored a hat trick of office lettings in the space of three months demonstrates the latent demand for Grade A space within Wolverhampton not just from existing occupiers but those new to the city as well.
“Rents of £16 per sq ft have also been achieved, a new high for Wolverhampton city centre offices.”
i10 is part of Wolverhampton’s £120million Interchange regeneration project which includes new Grade A Offices, the city’s new railway station and Metro line extension.
