Leading national enforcement expert, Marston Group, has acquired newly refurbished space at Embassy House in Birmingham city centre. The letting, agreed by DTZ, part of UGL Services, and Jones LangLaSalle is the first at the office scheme since it underwent a £2 million refurbishment.
Marston Group has taken 5,635 sq ft on the sixth floor of Embassy House, located in Birmingham’s central business district, on a 10 year lease.
A comprehensive refurbishment of the building was completed in January, including major works to the reception and communal area, and it now offers grade A accommodation.
Matthew Long, Associate Director at DTZ, commented: “This is a great example of how a substantial refurbishment can help to breathe new life into a building and attract tenants seeking centrally located accommodation. Embassy House is now well placed to meet occupier demand for grade A accommodation in Birmingham city centre.”
Marston Group is the largest privately owned specialist UK company operating in the field of civil and High Court Enforcement. The company’s headquarters are in Essex and the Birmingham office will operate as the main hub for their High Court enforcement division.
John Crichton, Group Finance Director at Marston Group Limited, commented: “Embassy House immediately caught our attention due to its prime location in Birmingham’s business district, the availability of high quality accommodation and access to our client base.”
