Two leading Bristol property organisations celebrate their 70th anniversaries this year and will mark the occasion with a joint celebration at Bristol Zoo on 6th July.
The Bristol Property Agents Association (BPAA) and the Great Western Branch of the Forum for the Built Environment (FBE), also based in Bristol, have a combined membership of over 500 and have been at the forefront of property and construction issues in Bristol and the wider region continuously for the past 70 years.
John Benson, current president of the BPAA and partner at property consultancy Alder King, said: “Since 1946, the membership and positive influence of both organisations has continued to expand, embracing professionals from all sides of the property and construction spectrum.
“While our city and local economy have changed almost beyond recognition since the 1940s, the BPAA has never forgotten our original mission: to be a force for good in the city.
“We are looking forward to celebrating this joint milestone anniversary with colleagues, friends and associates past and present, together with their partners.”
The event will be held within the Zoo grounds and will include music from the “Brass Junkies” and ice cream served from a vintage VW ice cream van. Further detail is available from the organisations’ websites.
