Steel frames are now up for St. Modwen’s next two speculative commercial units at their Access 18 development in Avonmouth reflecting the confidence in this location and the wider marketplace.
Pete Davies, Senior Development Manager for St. Modwen, the UK’s leading regeneration specialist and developer for the site explains:
“With the recent completion of a 43,100 sq ft bespoke unit for Hermes Parcelnet Ltd and the sale of our first 37,200 sq ft speculative unit to leading food industry supplier, Kent Foods, we are progressing development at Access 18.
“On the strength of occupier demand and lack of new buildings in the area, the steel frames are now up on our next two speculative units, which will provide 34,120 sq ft and 35,340 sq ft of prime industrial and warehouse space for occupation in September and October this year.
“Access 18 is excellently positioned, situated just off Junction 18 of the M5, and the £150m commercial development site stands at the gateway to the South West, as well as to Wales and Midlands.”
A phased development, the site is already home to big names including national paper distributor, Antalis; catering suppliers, Nisbet PLC; greetings card manufacturer, Budget Greetings Cards; Richard Austin Alloys, Flexipads World Class Ltd and now Hermes Parcelnet Ltd and Kent Foods. Design and build opportunities are still available for units from 10,000 sq ft to 300,000 sq ft, for sale or rent.
