Support services and care group Lifeways has taken 5,000 sq ft of office space at the West Plaza complex in West Bromwich.
In a deal put together by property agents Bond Wolfe a five year lease has been agreed.
Lifeways helps people with diverse and often complex needs in a community setting including those with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues and brain injuries.
It offers many types of care including supported living, residential homes, short breaks and respite.
West Plaza, a ten storey stand-alone hotel and office building on High Street, is located directly opposite the new Eastern Gateway development in the town centre.
James Mattin, managing director of Bond Wolfe, said: “This deal follows a string of lettings in West Bromwich during 2016 including 25,000 sq ft at the adjacent Metro Court.
“Following the substantial regeneration within the town including New Square, Providence Place and Eastern Gateway, there is a feel-good factor about West Bromwich and organisations such as Lifeways see real merit in basing themselves here.
“The excellent transport links have never been in doubt and Lifeways, like all local occupiers, will benefit from this and the improved local amenities.”
Other occupiers in the building include Premier Travel Inn and Sandwell Community Caring Trust.
