Bibby Financial Services has agreed a new 12 year lease on 16,500 sq ft of space at Pembroke House on Banbury Business Park.
The leading independent invoice finance specialist will occupy the entire first floor of the two storey office building, which is owned and managed in a joint venture between XLB Property and Harbert Management Corporation.
Occupying a prominent main road position at the entrance of Banbury Business Park, Pembroke House is strategically located for ease of access to Junction 11 of the M40 Motorway and is currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment in order to provide quality office accommodation and communal areas.
Alexander Johns, XLB Property, said “We are delighted to have Bibby Financial Services as a tenant and warmly welcome them to Pembroke House. Bibby are market leaders in their field and having them as an occupier validates the capital investment and is testament to the building. Pembroke House provides fantastic Grade A space, at an attractive rent with unrivalled parking ratio of 1:89 sq ft. We look forward to marketing the ground floor shortly.”
Douglas Bonham, Director, National Offices, Colliers International, said: “Our client is currently undertaking an extensive refurbishment to bring the open plan office accommodation in line with modern occupier expectations. Bibby was drawn to the strategic location of the premises and its staff and clients will no doubt benefit from the strong links to local and national motorway and rail networks.
“A further c 16,500 sq ft on the ground floor is scheduled to become available at Pembroke House later this summer.”
Colliers International acted jointly with Banbury-based surveyors, White Commercial, in the deal.
