Cushman & Wakefield has appointed lease advisory specialist Anne Louise Pilkington as a Partner in its Central London Retail team.
Better known by her maiden surname of Riding, Anne brings extensive experience of the central London retail property market. She has acted in a lease advisory capacity for many high profile central London landlords, as well as luxury retailers across prime central London thoroughfares including New/Old Bond Street, Oxford Street and Covent Garden.
Peter Mace, Head of London Retail at Cushman & Wakefield, said “Anne’s appointment will give us greater strength and capacity as we continue to grow our lease advisory portfolio in the central London retail market.”
Commenting on her appointment, Anne said: “I am delighted to be returning to Cushman & Wakefield. The company has grown considerably since I left 13 years ago and I am looking forward to working closely with the team to build our business portfolio.”
Recent wins for the Central London Retail team include an appointment as joint letting agent by Argent for the retail and leisure element of Coal Drops Yard, Kings Cross, and recently completed landmark lettings in the West End including: 73,000 sq ft to Next at the former Plaza Shopping Centre on Oxford Street, the pre-letting of 44,000 sq ft to Adidas at 425 Oxford Street and the letting to LEGO for a 7,500 sq ft flagship on Leicester Square at LSQ LONDON.
Cushman & Wakefield’s UK business has benefitted from an influx of senior hires in the first half of the year. In the last two months alone Martin Robb has joined as Head of Healthcare Advisory, while Carl Ridgley and Mark Dedman have joined as directors in the Hotel Valuation and London Project Management & Consultancy teams respectively.
