Catalyst Capital has completed the sale of 2.7 acres of land earmarked for development at its Link 62 Industrial and Distribution Park at Normanton, West Yorkshire to Fresh Pastures CIC.
Relocating from Ossett, Fresh Pastures, distributors of milk to schools, is constructing a brand new facility which is set to boost the local economy with the creation of 78 new jobs.
Fresh Pastures was supported in its new venture by a Business Growth Programme (BGP) grant from the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) to purchase land, construct bespoke accommodation and install new machinery.
Tom Asher, Associate Director from property consultants JLL who advised Catalyst Capital in conjunction with Carter Towler, said: “This is an important deal for Link 62 – on completion the proposed facility will make a significant contribution to the area’s economy.
“The balance of development plots D and plot C on the park are currently under offer. We will now focus on our plans on plots A and B, comprising 1.02 acres and 2.46 acres respectively, which are suitable for a variety of uses.”
Link 62 is an established industrial and distribution park located half a mile south of Junction 31 of the M62 motorway. Wakefield and Leeds city centres are five miles to the south west and 15 miles to the north west respectively.
