Worcestershire commercial property consultancy GJS Dillon Limited has opened a new office in Droitwich to act as its headquarters. The firm of Chartered Surveyors will retain its current offices in Bromsgrove and Worcester.
The new Droitwich office is an integral part of GJS Dillon’s growth plans as it approaches the end of its sixth year in business. The new office at 7 Roman Way Business Park, Droitwich, will house the firm’s accounts, management and valuation teams and other central functions, and allow GJS Dillon to better serve the Droitwich, Wyre Forest, and Pershore/Evesham commercial property markets which are very strong at present.
“We have always offered a comprehensive commercial property service with unrivalled geographical coverage throughout Worcestershire and along the M5 and A38 corridors,” says John Dillon, Managing Director of GJS Dillon.
“Droitwich and the office on Roman Way were carefully chosen for our new HQ and will help us to improve our service and our access to clients. Droitwich is brilliantly placed, being situated in the middle of Worcestershire, with good access to the M5 and the entire County. We will retain our offices at 9 Edgar Street in Worcester and at 13 New Road in Bromsgrove and for our clients in Worcester, Malvern, Bromsgrove and Redditch it will be business as usual,” continues Mr Dillon.
GJS Dillon directors’ pension fund acquired the freehold of the 2,550 sq ft offices at 7 Roman Way Business Park for an undisclosed sum and will lease the premises back to the firm.
In the past 12 months, GJS Dillon has advised on a number of key property transactions in Worcestershire having advised now two different landowners on two different Waitrose Supermarkets in the County, as well as having acquired well over 100,000 sq ft of off market commercial premises for local office, manufacturing and distribution companies. On the commercial agency side of the business the firm has sold or let in excess of 150,000 sq ft of industrial accommodation and over 80,000 sq ft of office accommodation in the county for companies, developers and private individuals.
At the end of last year the firm was awarded the prestigious EGI 2015 Worcestershire Deal Maker award to acknowledge the firms number of deals (sales, lettings and acquisitions) as well as its impact on the Worcestershire commercial property market.
