intu is adding another exciting name to its growing collection of aspirational retail brands at the heart of the UK’s second fast growing city with the opening of a new Jack Wills store at intu Milton Keynes next month.
Signing up for a 2,663 sq. ft. space, Jack Wills is the latest retailer to capitalise on the young, prosperous and booming catchment area of Milton Keynes which has seen a bigger rise in population and job growth than almost any other large British town or city according to The Centre for Cities.
Data from January 2016 shows that the city’s population increased by more than 39,000 between 2004 and 2014, more than twice the national average*.
With a high proportion of affluent shoppers and 16 million annual customers, intu Milton Keynes is already a prime retail destination thanks to a number of desirable brands including Apple, Karen Millen and a new Michael Kors Lifestyle store.
Nick Round, regional director at intu, said: “This new Jack Wills store is part of our strategy to attract the high number of young and prosperous shoppers living within intu Milton Keynes’s extensive and growing catchment area. This exciting store will ensure we can continue to attract customers from further afield for longer, helping all our retailers to flourish.”
