Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has announced the promotion of nine new partners across the UK.
The promotions, which will be effective next month as of 2 July 2016, cover a broad spectrum of the firm’s service lines and regions, highlighting the depth and breadth of BDO’s expertise.
The firm has also said it will continue to drive investment and recruitment at partner-level over the coming year in line with its ambitious 2020 plans.
The nine new partner promotions include four in BDO’s tax practice, which has grown 20% in the last year and faster than any other tax team in the top ten firms. They include Lee Bijoux (private client), Neil Brackstone, James Pratt and Glyn Woodhouse.
In the business assurance practice, Stuart Wood becomes an Audit partner, Tim Foster has been promoted in the Risk and Advisory Services (RAS) team and Liz Kulczycki in Not for Profit.
Ross McDonald becomes a partner in Debt Advisory and Richard Wiseman in Global Outsourcing.
The promotions, which span the firm’s London, Birmingham, Gatwick, Manchester and Reading offices, support BDO’s continuing focus on serving the mid-market (businesses with a turnover between £10m-£300m), as well as maintaining its position as number one for client satisfaction – a position it has held for four years running.

BDO recently announced that Paul Eagland has been elected as the new Managing Partner following a vote of all its partners. Paul will take office on 1 October 2016 when Simon Michaels completes his second four-year term as Managing Partner of the firm.
