Change Real Estate has acquired the freehold of a 1.17 acre multi-let estate in Southville, Bristol.
The Old Brewery, formerly owned by a family trust, is home to a mix of short-term let warehousing and workshop space.
Ron Persaud, Director of Change Real Estate, comments, “The Old Brewery is located in a buzzing part of Bristol, but the properties and infrastructure on the site have not been invested in to any great extent for many years. As a company we look to take on sites that we can make a real difference to – I believe we can greatly enhance the potential of the Old Brewery and will be assessing its long term opportunities over the next few months.”
The Old Brewery is located on the site of the old Ashton Gate Brewery and Thomas Baynton’s Brewery, which started brewing in the 1820s. It has dual access from North Street and Baynton Road.
Change Real Estate is currently progressing the multi-million pound, mixed-use regeneration at Redcliff Quarter and is also working to bring one of Bristol’s most iconic Georgian parades at Redcliffe Parade West back to its original residential use.
Change Real Estate was represented by Ross Kieran at Ocean in the acquisition. Alex Riddell at Bilfinger GVA represented the vendor.
