Bristol veterinary practice Highcroft Pet Care has taken 3,137 sq ft of refurbished open plan office space at Clue House in Hengrove following a deal brokered by Bruton Knowles.
Acting on behalf of BOM Group Ltd, Bruton Knowles let the part first floor of the unit on Central Park in the South Bristol ‘Golden Triangle’ – which runs from the Paintworks to the Bottle Yard Studios and Filwood Green Business Park.
Now part of CVS Group, Highcroft Pet Care has taken a new five-year sub-lease from BOM Group. They plan to use Clue House to provide administrative offices and a call centre to serve their network of veterinary practices throughout the region.
Paul Williams, Head of Agency at Bruton Knowles’ Bristol office, said the deal was the latest in a series of moves south of the river.
He said: “The area has become increasingly popular with companies in the creative and media sector, largely due to the success of the Bottle Yard but further boosted by the forthcoming transport improvements to the area such as the South Bristol Link Road and metrobus system.
“These long awaited transport improvements will help to open up South Bristol to further inward investment from companies attracted by improved transport links and lower occupational costs than other parts of the Bristol metropolitan area.”
‘Highcroft were attracted to Clue House by the opportunity to acquire open plan offices at a competitive rate close to their main veterinary hospital on Wells Road. We have a further suite of 1,500 sq ft available on the floor, which is currently under offer to a national firm and we are actively seeking more instructions in the area to accommodate businesses still looking for suitable accommodation.”
Located mid-way between the city centre and the Bottle Yard Studios, Central Park was formerly occupied by Berger Paints, and is strategically positioned just off the A37 Wells Road, less than two miles from the city centre.
Knight Frank were joint agents on the deal. Highcroft Pet care represented themselves in the transaction.
