Property consultancy JLL has appointed a new head of office in Exeter.
Tim Western, who has worked at the company for 19 years, takes the reins from Charles Kislingbury, who will continue to be based at JLL in Exeter, where he will focus on developing the residential agency side of the business across South West and Wales.
Tim will also continue to lead the industrial and logistics teams across the South West and Wales region – a position he has held for the last year.
Charles said: “This is a natural progression for the Exeter office.
“Having worked with Tim for many years, he has all the skills and knowledge that will ensure JLL continues to be a leading property business in the region.”
Charles opened the Exeter office in 1990 and has built a team of 31 people who provide a range of services including commercial and residential agency; planning consultancy; building consultancy; and professional services. The office also includes national teams involved with renewable energy as well as hotels and hospitality.
Tim Western said: “This is a really exciting time for me personally and for the wider team and Charles has helped build a fantastic team.
“There’s a big opportunity to grow JLL’s business in the South West, using our global brand combined with local knowledge.”
JLL in Exeter works with a range of organisations from small businesses and investors to the public sector and institutional funds.
Tim takes up his new post on June 1.
