Independent property management consultancy GBR Phoenix Beard has appointed Ceri-Ann Reading as an associate director in its health and safety team. Bringing 25 years of experience in the health and safety sector, Ceri-Ann’s role will be to grow GBR Phoenix Beard’s health and safety services. This strategic role will involve advising clients on how best to meet their health and safety property obligations, whilst ensuring that the properties managed promote the well-being of everyone involved in these locations. Ceri’s impeccable health and safety credentials include having been a Chartered Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) since the inception of this membership type in the 1990s.
Ceri-Ann joins from MITIE, facilities, property and energy service providers, where she was the quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) lead for the Rolls Royce account. The account was awarded the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) gold standard award under her watch. This gold award recognises a very high level of performance, demonstrating well-developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss. Prior to that, Ceri-Ann Reading was head of safety for property and asset management at Jones Lang LaSalle and worked at JLL for 16 years. She is also a qualified internal auditor.
