Tuffin Ferraby Taylor (“TFT”), independent property and construction consultancy, has been appointed to deliver project management services to the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST), the UK’s leading network of independent girls’ schools responsible for nearly 20,000 students across 24 schools and two academies.
Following, a competitive presentation, TFT has been appointed to work on a number of significant feasibility studies for GDST. These appointments come on top of existing contracts for the Trust at Streatham & Clapham High School and Blackheath High School.
Christine Sillis, Estates Director, Girls’ Day School Trust, said: “We are delighted to announce that Tuffin Ferraby Taylor is coming onboard across our 24 schools. They have already demonstrated their sector-leading technical expertise and ability to meet very tight timescales that fit around our term dates. Live educational sites present significant challenges for development and construction and we feel that TFT is best placed to deliver what we want, when we want it.”
Alan Pemberton, Managing Partner, Tuffin Ferraby Taylor, said: “Working alongside our academy, university and school clients, we have developed a strong team focused on the requirements of the education sector. GDST is the pre-eminent girls’ independent school network, so it is a particular pleasure to be supporting the Trust yet further as it makes significant investment into its educational estate.”
