Alliance Surgical, the leading independent healthcare group, is expanding by taking additional space within 54 Hagley Road, Edgbaston.
The group has acquired additional space by moving into the part 10th floor of the office complex after agreeing a ten-year lease for 2,223 sq ft of space in the east wing.
The company already occupies the whole of the 11th floor of the landmark office building.
George Jennings, of Bilfinger GVA, which is joint agent for 54 Hagley Road, said: “We are very pleased that Alliance Surgical is already expanding here at 54 Hagley Road, and it is testament to the continued investment in the premises by owners Opus Land / Palmer Capital. The building is seen as a prime location for ambitious businesses that need a first-class environment in which to operate.”
The organisation’s expansion comes as global project management and technical consultancy White Young Green has further committed to 54 Hagley Road by renewing its tenancy and acquiring an additional 500 sq ft of space, taking its total floorspace to 2,715 sq ft.
Keith Fenwick, director at WYG Group, said the extra space was needed following its acquisition of Alliance Planning.
“The growth of the team to include multi-disciplinary functions has necessitated expansion,” he said. “We’ve found the location ideal for servicing existing clients both within the city and regionally and this, combined with the Grade A specification, excellent building management and a flexible and engaged landlord, meant we were only too pleased to remain in our existing Birmingham offices.”
