Acting on behalf of a private owner the Cardiff office of Knight Frank has recently agreed the sale of the 42,171 sq ft Block E, Capital Business Park, Cardiff to business centre owner Rombourne. DLP Surveyors advised the purchaser.
Rombourne has an extensive portfolio of office, retail and industrial accommodation in South Wales and the South West including nine serviced office centres and its own Business Park that it developed at Langstone, Newport, adjacent to J24 of the M4 Motorway.
Neil Francis, partner within the industrial agency team at Knight Frank in Cardiff, said: “Rombourne plans to sub-divide the unit, which comprises warehousing plus a two storey office block, and offer smaller units from 3,000 sq ft upwards.”
Mike Bruce of DLP Surveyors, said: “It’s great to see a local investor looking to create more modern space and the Cardiff industrial market certainly needs more quality stock like this at the moment.”
Rombourne chief executive Damian Stokes commented: “Capital Business Park is an excellent development with high quality buildings and great accessibility. We believe it’s the best industrial park in Cardiff and are delighted with this purchase.”
Capital Business Park is located in Wentloog, approximately two miles from the A48(M) and four miles from Cardiff City Centre. Knight Frank and DLP will be retained to market the new units once conversion work has been completed.
