Swansea Bay Business Club’s April lunch did not disappoint, with guests hearing from guest speaker Rain Newton-Smith of the CBI (The Confederation of British Industry)
The business community of Swansea enjoyed lunch at the Village Hotel, whilst Rain discussed the outlook for the UK economy, what’s on the global risk horizon and what this means for businesses. Guests engaged in a Q&A, which provided an interesting perspective for local businesses of all sizes.
Swansea Bay Business Club President Hayley Davies, commented: “Our guests today have commented how much they enjoyed hearing from Rain, whose insights were very interesting and informative. Our events provide a great networking opportunity for the business community of Swansea and we are pleased that Rain was able to join us. We now look forward to our May Lunch where Rt. Hon Kenneth Clarke MP will join us as speaker on Friday 20th May at The Liberty Stadium, Swansea.”
Tickets for the next event can be bought individually or a table of ten can be purchased, providing the ideal opportunity for entertaining colleagues and guests for an afternoon.
