Knight Frank has scooped two awards at the commercial property industry’s ‘Oscars’.
The firm was named ‘Investment Agency Team of the Year’ and ‘Office Agency Team of the Year’ at ‘Property Week’s’ annual property awards.
The gongs were presented at London’s Grosvenor House hotel.
Ashley Hudson, head of the firm’s Birmingham office and the Midlands investment team, said: “Our Birmingham office had a stellar 2015, contributing to the overall success of the national teams.
“The investment team in Birmingham now boasts a 20 per cent market share and advised on two of last years biggest deals, the £87million acquisition of Colmore Row and the £73million acquisition of House of Fraser.”
The firm’s Birmingham offices team, headed by Jamie Philips, also had an active 2015, winning the mandates to market 103 Colmore Row in Birmingham and Unity Square in Nottingham. 2016 has also kicked off well, with Knight Frank advising Hermes on their 85,000 sq ft letting to Network Rail at Baskerville House.
Jamie said: “We are lucky to be involved in some of the region’s most compelling schemes with an excellent and loyal client base who value our advice and proactive approach. Being able to demonstrate Knight Frank’s joined up approach to office agency – both nationally and internationally – is an added benefit to them.”
