Following a major external refurbishment during 2011 that included redecoration, improved customer arrival experience and external downlighting, the offices at Dukes Keep, on the edge of Southampton city centre are attracting new tenants. The international recruitment firm MAXIMUS Employment & Training Ltd (‘MAXIMUS’) is relocating its Southampton office into 4,600 sq ft as the business expands across the UK with joint letting agents CBRE and Keygrove securing the letting of the open plan offices on a new five year lease.
Mark Kelly, Services Manager at MAXIMUS said: “Dukes Keep is a great location for us to move our existing Southampton business to as it is easily accessible and close to the city centre shops.”
Emma Lockey, Senior Agency Surveyor at CBRE commented: “The landlord of Dukes Keep has recently invested significantly on improving the external appearance of the building and this work has quickly paid dividends in the letting to MAXIMUS.”
Andrew Archibald, Joint Agent at Keygrove Chartered Surveyors added: “The refurbishment of Dukes Keep has attracted much interest as it’s one of the only buildings that can provide from 4,600 sq ft up to 60,000 sq ft with the benefit of good on site car parking. The building provides excellent, flexible open plan accommodation on large single floors at very competitive rents. Good parking, road access, proximity to the high street shops and views across Southampton Water make it a great location.”
