Rachel Williams has joined the board of the Midlands branch of the Investment Property Forum (IPF).
Rachel is a senior associate in the real estate team at the Birmingham office of global law firm DLA Piper, where she advises public and private sector clients on regeneration, development and property finance.
The IPF is the UK’s leading membership organisation for property investment professionals. It was established in 1988, with the aim of promoting investment in property through research, education and debate. The Midlands region was set up in 2000 with just 25 members. It now boasts more than 200.
The Midlands board delivers opportunities for informal networking, a sell-out annual lunch and dinner, as well as a high quality seminar programme, including an exclusive insight on data on the commercial lending market produced by De Montfort University, and a first look at the Investment Property Databank’s annual results.
Rachel will join the organisation’s 12-strong board, led by chairman James Cubitt of Colliers International.
James said: “Rachel has been an enthusiastic member of the IPF and is extremely well connected in the property market. She will be a great asset to the board.”
Rachel said: “The IPF is the go-to organisation for experienced real estate investment professionals.
“It has outstanding research capabilities, which should act as a spring board for up-skilling and connecting the Midlands up and coming talent pool. I don’t believe there is a better networking and educational forum for ambitious professionals keen to make their way up the property career ladder.”
