CPBigwood has undergone a major rebranding following its acquisition by SDL Group earlier this year.
The business will now be known as SDL Bigwood and has been integrated into the £60 million a year turnover SDL brand.
The announcement follows the establishment of a new executive board to take SDL Bigwood forward with further growth both locally and nationally.
The rebrand sees three divisions highlighted – SDL Bigwood will focus on auctions, lettings management, commercial, including agency and commercial management, and professional services.
The firm’s largest department by staff numbers which was formerly known as Residential Service Charge, becomes SDL Bigwood PRS & Estate Management.
The residential sales and lettings agency becomes part of the UK’s largest residential property franchise and will now be known as C21 Bigwood.
SDL Bigwood PRS & Estate Management is currently undergoing a £400,000 investment in technology and software aimed at boosting its national presence in the private rented sector – a major SDL Group target area for growth in 2016.
The news follows the recent acquisition of Graham Penny Auctions in the East Midlands to give the firm a £160 million (in aggregate sales) auction business which is now the fourth largest in the UK.
SDL Bigwood chief executive officer Rory Daly said: “The backing of SDL Group is already evident in the investments we are making both in back office systems and in further acquisitions.
“The intention is to drive our growth as a major UK player in our key service lines, auction, property management and the private rented sector.”
