Leading Scottish property consultancy, CKD Galbraith, has strengthened its building surveying department with the promotion of James Taylor.
James Taylor’s promotion to associate is part of CKD Galbraith’s commitment to enhancing the firm’s prominent position in the building surveying sector.
James has been involved in a wide range of projects across all property sectors. In addition to core building surveying services of dilapidations, building acquisition surveys and reinstatement cost assessments, James has been overseeing a large farmhouse refurbishment and steading conversion, as well as undertaking several flood and fire damage insurance reinstatements.
Based in Stirling, James’ work covers a wide geographical area including Stirlingshire, Perthshire, Angus and the West of Scotland, as well as estates in the Western Isles.
James Taylor said: “I am delighted to have become an associate within the building surveying team at a time when the firm, particularly the Stirling office, has grown in number and strength over the past 12 months. The role is extremely varied and I have been fortunate to work on projects across all property sectors.”
Martin Cassels, partner and head of CKD Galbraith’s building surveying department, said: “James’ promotion to associate is testament to his dedication and commitment having played a key role in the firm’s rural, residential and commercial building surveying work.”
